This is the last of New Year’s Day photos from Sunol. Earlier in the day, I was remarking that all my infrared photos were taken in soft light (open shade). Mainly because I go out to Sunol after work and the valley is already shaded by the time that I arrive. Well, this one is very different and shows dramatic backlighting.

I’ve had some troubles with the post mechanism in the past
three weeks, so I wasn’t able post till now.

Matteo – Thanks! I may go back to some infrared work again. I have been concentrating on color work for my portfolio class and upcocming exhibition class. Now, I am in a lull and not sure what new direction will emerge. Happy New Year!
