Of course for my long landscape photography weekend, I forgot my tripod. So, I put the camera into shutter priority and cranked up the ISO. I used my prime 135mm f/2 lens almost exclusively. The lens is very fast so I lost virtually no images to shake.

This weekend was spent up in Point Reyes with a Photo Alliance workshop. Had a nice weekend with lots of feedback on my new Contemplations portfolio. I will have to process the input but it was certainly not what I hoped.

Happy Memorial Day. Chip, I, and the dogs had a lazy day. We went out to Sunol for a walk and that was our biggest activity.

Made another go at the tree roots from a few days ago. I still am not satisfied so will try to return in the next few days before the water level and light changes too much.

Taken tonite out in Sunol. Chip took the dogs for a walk along the road. I found this wonderful tree. This is 5 stitched photos and bracketed the exposures. The mosquitoes were fierce. The entire time, a raven was scolding me from somewhere up in the branches.
