Over Labor Day weekend, our local nursery had a 50% off sale on all their rose bushes. This is one of our new bushes.

As for the shot, I spent the afternoon with Robert Kato, a photo guru. He taught me how to setup a still life, control the lighting and fine-tune focus. Thanks, Robert!
