Niles #3

Here is one from the archives. I will have to go out soon for new material. Hopefully, the spider webs will be visible in the web version.

Parking

This one is a bit of a mystery. I think we were pulling into a parking space at my favorite restaurant, Yan Can. I started with a red building with ivy surrounded windows. As we turned, there is a multi-story construction project and then the flowers in front of Yan Can restaurant.

Seattle #4

This is another shot from my midday walk around the hotel in Seattle. I like the composition and bokeh areas. I did not like the tonality and colors. So, I fiddled around with the Nik filters until I did.

Up in Seattle, I had a chance to take a short walk around our hotel during the middle of the day. We were staying in a hotel next to the Green River. The banks of the river were covered in brambles of wild roses, black berries and wild morning glories.

I accidentally applied the Nik Colorize filter to this one. I like the pop of oranges that the filter emphasized so I kept it.

My impression of Seattle. Very green and lush especially since we are dry and brown at home.
