Fall Colors #2

This one will be my last post for a few days. I am heading out for along weekend up in Yosemite with Chip. I am looking forward to a getaway, and I have heard that we will be arriving near the peak of fall color.

Fall Reflections

Another from my recent visit to Sunol. I balanced on a rock in the middle of the creek to get this angle. I really needed a stepladder.

Took a quick trip out to Sunol and took these shots before the light completely faded.

Another so-so picture from Sunol. This little section of Alameda Creek is still very lush.

Toss #2

This is another panning shot that was inverted. I think it was a display with hard boiled eggs.

Fall Colors

While visiting Sunol, I became fascinated with the leaves. I kept getting closer and closer. Finally, I pulled out the macro lens. These were very small leaves and that is a single blade of grass wrapped around them.

Gone skateboarding

Another on my black and white kick. This was a grab shot taken in the Music Concourse of Golden Gate park. The bike owners were skateboarding out of frame.

Golden Gate Park Ivy

This is was a quick grab shot on my walk through Golden Gate Park to the deYoung Museum. I have gotten the yen for doing B&W photography again.

Sunol Trailhead

I have taken this picture before but could not resist. This is just after the trailhead out in Sunol. This road is for trucks and horses to ford the creek. Usually, the creek is low enough that I can cross without getting my feet wet. However, it was still a little too deep right now.

These are a few fun images made by tossing my camera around. This one was some dark wicker placemats and a blue globe. Somehow, that turned into this image.
