I finally returned to Sunol after all our recent rain. As I expected, everything was a lot greener. I was also happy to see the creek flowing again which is badly needed given our expected drought conditions this summer. However, I forgot how slippery things are when wet and slid down the mud into creek right here. After emptying one of my hiking boots, I noticed this image and took it.

Before the Rain

We are having stormfronts move through and they are dumping much needed rain. With heavy rain, I have not been out to Sunol for a while. This is from late winter before we had any significant rain. It will look different when I finally do return.
