Assignment #4 – Oil Painting

This is my last assignment for my Betterphoto painting class. We were assigned an oil painting. I started with a gouache layer (did not like), covered it with an oil pastel layer, blended, repainted with an oil brush layer, blended again, and added more details.

Pt Reyes #4

I have down for a few days. My laptop required major surgery with a new (much bigger) internal hard drive. I am going to pick back up with my Pt Reyes photos. I visited Tomales Bay State Park one afternoon and wandered down to the beach. The shoreline was littered with oyster(?) shells that were very blue. As you can see, the waters are crystal clear.
