This is another taken during our Halloween visit to Yosemite. This is the trail leading to Mirror Lake. I like this photo a lot but it was not well reviewed at my portfolio class. Maybe, I like this image just because it was such a beautiful day and this photo brings back that memory.

It happens to me too. I like a lot some of my photos but
I realized that sometimes others don’t see what I see
and don’t feel what I feel when I look at my photos.
It’s a pity.

i really like this photo also. i find it very peaceful, and i want to walk down the path. i guess it isn’t conventionally “wow” by the “wow” photo standards, but i think it is simple and beautiful. photo critics don’t have hearts.

Thanks Matteo and Terri. In fairness to the class, we had 8 minutes to look at work prints and select the ones we like. From my personal experience, it becamse visually overwhelming and I think the ‘louder’ images became the selections.
