For 30 years, Brazos Nights has brought good times and great music to the riverfront in downtown Waco. With a soulful mix of musicians, food trucks and family fun, the award-winning concerts are a true Waco tradition. The concert series concludes on Thursday, July 4, with the annual FOURTH ON THE BRAZOS celebration at Touchdown Alley, next to Baylor’s McLane Stadium. Admission is free, and gates open at 5 p.m. The event will feature a live performance from blues prodigy Christone “KINGFISH” Ingram and a patriotic set from the Waco Community Band. Opening for Kingfish is CaCean Ballou and the Dirty Crawfish, featuring zydeco pioneer Classie Ballou.
